associated with Department of Education,Jamia Millia Islamia and Convenor
,Committee on Education,Institute of Objective Studies ,Joga Bai Extension New Delhi.He
began his teaching from the Majidia Islamia Inter College Allahabad,as teacher of
Education,Joined Jamia Millia Islamia ,New Delhi in 1953 as lecturer in Education and
retired in 1992.He has written two books are on current problems of Education in Urdu and
have also translated two books on on Education psychology from English into Urdu.Moreover
he compiled more than thirty text books for class I-VIII.He writes for children and about
children literature .He has reviewed more than two hundred books on Education,Psychology
and Urdu literature and have also contributed a large number of articles on
Education ,Psychology Urdu literature.
Prof Riaz Shakir Khan :Head,IASE
(Department of Teacher Training )and Dean,Faculty of EducationJamia Millia Islamia,Jamia
Nagar New Delhi He obtained his DASE (Teacher's Education) from Bristo (UK) His PhD in the
field of Education.Dr Khan is a distinguished academic who has four books on his credit as
an author.He has dozens of research articles in the field of Education and Economics.He
has conducted a number of project on diffferent aspect of education for national and
international agencies like UNESCO ,NCERT Canadian International Development Agency etc.
He has attended more than 100 seminars and workshops and has cated as resource person in
many of them .He has a wide experience as educational administrator .
Prof Mohammad Akhtar Siddiqui Professor,IASE
Faculty of Education Jamia Millia Islamia ,New Delhi.He is PhD in Education in 1984 and
was awarded a British Council long term fellowship and under its auspices studies at the
school of Education ,Leeds University in 1984-85 where he developed a model of Teachers
centre for Indian teachers.He visited Iraq and served as lecturer in the Institute of
Technology.He has published a books on the theme of education ,written many articles in
publications bought out by different educational agencies.Over the years he specialised in
the educational management,minority education and teacher education besides commerce
education.He is a member of many professional organisations and educational committees.He
is actively involved in research ,teaching and social work to improve the
educational condition of the Muslim community in India.
